While I could not give an accurate percentage, I do know that many Steamboat residents, like myself, "came for the winter but stayed for the summer" or "came for a year but stayed for a lifetime." Whatever your reasons for staying in Steamboat, it is undeniable that there is something uniquely alluring about this valley. From its beauty to its numerous activities to its friendly locals, Steamboat Springs has proved a welcome home to many from around the country - or rather, in fact, from around the world.
